DePaul Exhibition vs. Trinity Christian Set

CHICAGO – The DePaul men's basketball team will face Trinity Christian in its only exhibition game of the season on November 2 at McGrath Arena it was announced today by Blue Demon head coach Jerry Wainwright.

DePaul and Trinity Christian, which is located in Palos Heights, Ill., will tip-off at 7:30 p.m. following the Blue Demon women's exhibition game against Michigan Tech at 5:30 p.m.

This will be the Trolls second trip to McGrath Arena for an exhibition game. DePaul beat Trinity, 91-73, on November 12, 2005 behind a game-high 26 points from Karron Clarke. Draelon Burns added 14 points while Wilson Chandler had 10 points and a game-high eight rebounds. Trinity was led by Dean Nauta's 18 points.

Trinity was 9-18 last season while DePaul is coming off a 20-14 campaign in which the Blue Demons advanced to the quarterfinals of the NIT. Wainwright's squad will open the regular season on November 9 at Creighton (7 p.m.). The home opener is slated for November 17 against Northwestern (1 p.m.) at the Allstate Arena.
