Luka Mirkovic averaged 25 points and 12 rebounds this season for the La Lumiere Lakers in LaPorte, Indiana.
"I liked Northwestern for the academics and their staff," Mirkovic said. "Their staff and team are amazing."
The 6-11, 230 lb. big man spoke to Scout.com on Saturday night after competing in an All-Star game in north-central Indiana. Luka recorded 24 points, 10 rebounds, and blocked three shots in the game.
Luka has not yet signed his national letter of intent with Northwestern and plans to do so next week. Mirkovic had also received interest from DePaul, Louisville, and Marquette.
