"I am truly excited that Krys Faber has decided to join our program at DePaul," Wainwright said. "He is an outstanding young man from a truly special family. He is gifted with tremendous athleticism and that, added to a determined, competitive desire, makes him I believe one of the best prospects at this position in the country. Krys will have an immediate impact on our program, both on and off the court, and his signing certainly solidifies our frontcourt for the future.
"Krys joins Devin Hill and Jeremiah Kelly to give us a 2008 class of tremendous versatility, speed, and skill. They are all character kids and I can't wait to coach them," Wainwright said.
Faber is a 6-11, 245-pound center from Los Angeles. Faber also averaged 12.9 points and 12.5 rebounds during his junior campaign.
