DePaul's Mac Koshwal to Test NBA Draft Waters

CHICAGO - DePaul's Mac Koshwal will enter his name into the 2009 NBA Draft the school announced today.

Mac Koshwal, a 6-foot-10-inch 255 lb. sophomore forward/center averaged 12.2 points and 9.6 rebounds for DePaul this season. He was named to the Big East all-rookie team as a freshman last season.

Mac has been a team captain for the last two years and was the first freshman named captain in the history of the school.

Koshwal has not hired an agent and can return next season. He is currently enrolled in classes at DePaul.

Mac plans to workout for NBA teams in the coming month and has until June 15th to withdraw his name from the draft.

Koshwal, a native of the Sudan, played his high school basketball in Chicago at Julian High and Boys to Men Academy.

Mac joins fellow sophomore Dar Tucker who also declared for the draft last week.
