Drake Diener Signs Two Year Deal

Former DePaul Blue Demon shooting guard Drake Diener has signed a two year professional basketball contract to play in Italy for Banca Tercas Teramo. In this report, we provide updates on overseas contracts signed by Diener, Marcus Heard, and LeVar Seals.

Drake Diener joins Banca Tercas Teramo and replaces former Utah State guard Jaycee Carroll on the Teramo roster.

This will be Diener's fifth team that he has played for in Italy. The 6-6 guard has played with Castelletto Ticino (26 games,17.0ppg), Capo d'Orlando (20 games,18.2ppg), Montepaschi Siena (15 games, 9.9ppg) and finished last season with Air Avellino averaging 10 ppg.

The former DePaul Blue Demon guard finished with 1,208 career points.

Heard Signs to Play in Chile

Former DePaul forward Marcus Heard signed a contract to play for Provincial Llanquihue of the Chilean Dimayor League. Heard joined the team on Wednesday.

The 6-7 forward scored 25 points in his debut for Provincial Llanquihue on Friday night and followed that up with 18 points last night.

Heard played last season for Lobos de la UAC Saltillo in Mexico where he averaged 13.2 points, 9.2 rebounds and one steal per game.

Seals Re-signs with Romanian Team

Former Blue Demon LeVar Seals extended his contract to play for BC Otopeni in Romania.
