DePaul's Koshwal Turning Pro

DePaul junior forward Mac Koshwal has decided to turn professional and declare himself eligible for the 2010 NBA Draft

Mac Koshwal averaged a double–double of 16.1 points and 10.1 rebounds per game this season for DePaul.

"We're sorry that we won't have the opportunity to work with Mac during his senior season and see him finish his career at DePaul with his degree," said new DePaul coach Oliver Purnell in a statement. "We wish him nothing but the best in the future."

Because Koshwal tested the waters and declared for the NBA Draft last year, he is not able to do so again and retain his college eligbility.

Koshwal follows former Blue Demon Dar Tucker who declared for the 2009 NBA Draft, went undrafted, and ended up playing for the Los Angeles Defenders of the D-League.
