Mac Koshwal declared for early entry into the NBA Draft after his junior season at DePaul. Koshwal went undrafted and played for the Detroit Pistons in their Summer League.
Koshwal averaged a double–double of 16.1 points and 10.1 rebounds per game last season for the Blue Demons.
The 6-10 big man averaged 5.4 points, 7.2 rebounds, and six blocked shots while averaging 18.8 minutes per game for the Pistons in NBA Summer League action in Las Vegas. He recorded a double-double of 10 points and 12 rebounds against Sacramento.
