"It is going pretty good. We are on a bye week now, we just came off a loss to Armwood, it was a good game though. I am doing pretty good man. I am doing good, just resting up during the bye week, everything is going good. I am not going to lie, my stats aren't nothing compared to last year. I have been running kick and punt returns, but my straight receiver stats aren't as good. The reason I think it is our quarterback is young, everything man."
Lovett, 5-foot-7 and 160 pounds, talked about the latest with recruiting.
Lovett has a few official visits in mind.
"Duke will be my first visit, I heard how nice it is up there. I am not sure about the rest. I will take them when the playoffs start."
Two schools sit atop Lovett's list at this point in the process.
"My top two are East Carolina and Duke. What I like about East Carolina is that they run the spread and they have Texas Tech coaches from last year. Duke, I like the education."
The standout receiver, who claims a 2.8 GPA and a 26 ACT score, talked about what he's looking for in a school.
"I don't want to feel like I am gone. I want to feel like a family when I am there. I want to feel comfortable; I want somewhere I feel like I am wanted."
