Three Star Prospect Talks Recruiting

Pinecrest High (NC) lineman Bryce Kennedy is a top 50 offensive guard from the Tar Heel State. Practically every school in the Carolinas is vying for his talents. He tells us the latest on his recruitment inside.

Southern Pines (NC) offensive guard Bryce Kennedy out of Pinecrest High has emerged as a top 50 offensive guard prospect with offers from just about every major college program in the Carolinas.

South Carolina was the first to extend an offer to the talented lineman and shortly after North Carolina, Duke, Wake Forest, East Carolina, North Carolina State poured in as well as Stanford, Temple, Western Kentucky and FIU.

"It's great to have these options. Right now I just have to get more detail on each in order to know what is the best fit."

To help him do so Kennedy has spent the majority of the summer on the road, visiting his nearby options.

"Every Thursday I go to different colleges. I went to UNC recently, Duke, NC State and I will most likely go somewhere this week, but I am not sure where yet. It should be close by."

Out of those three schools, he claims no favorites. "All three are tied right now. They all have great academics, coaching staffs and facilities."

When asked who he talks to most he responded, "I talk to all of them almost everyday. It's a lot to sort out. They are all great."

With many options to choose from, the three-star prospect does, however, note which schools he intends on taking official visits to this fall, although nothing is set in stone.

"I want to go to California since that is so far so I would like to go to Stanford, South Carolina, UNC, Wake Forest, Duke and maybe NC State."
