Florida WR Will Visit Duke

Jamie Wilson is a standout wide receiver prospect from Glades Central High and Scout caught up with him to discuss the latest.

Jamie Wilson helped lead Glades Central to the state championship game last season and he's off to another good start this year.

"We're doing good," Wilson said. "I have 250 yards so far in two games."

Wilson, 6-feet and 185 pounds, talked about the recruiting process.

"Maryland, USF, Duke, Utah, and Cincinnati have been calling me," he said. "I can't really say I like any one more than the other. There are things I like about all of those schools. Duke has just a great atmosphere. USF is close to home and around family. Cincinnati always has a strong program and I like their offense as well as Maryland's and Utah's."

Wilson said he doesn't have any official visits lined up yet but he's thinking of two in particular.

"I don't have any official visits scheduled yet. But I'm supposed to go up to Duke sometime in December and Maryland sometime in October. I just gotta finalize the dates."

Inside the classroom Wilson claims a 3.6 GPA and a 19 ACT score.
