Norman's Commitment Is Solid

Dwayne Norman continues to hear from several schools, but says he's done with recruiting

Dwayne Norman talked about his senior season after seven games.

"We're 4-3 right now, we're playing pretty good," Norman said. "I'm doing good, I'm the leading rusher and leading tackler on my team."

Norman, 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds, committed to Duke back in May and remains that way.

"I picked Duke because I liked the coaching staff a lot, the atmosphere is great, and also I enjoyed their players. I am really excited to play there," he said.

Norman is well connected with the Duke coaches and he talked about that.

"I talk to the head Coach Cutcliffe and Coach Knowles the defensive coordinator," he said. "I have a really good relationship with those guys."

Despite the commitment, two other schools are still calling but it doesn't seem to matter much to him.

"FIU and Iowa State still call me," he said. "I don't plan on taking any other official visits though."

Inside the classroom Norman claims a 4.0 GPA and a 20 ACT score.
