The Duke Head Coach has made contact with the corner out of Kingsland (GA) Camden County and Green likes that.
"Coach [David] Cutcliffe has messaged me on Facebook before and we talked on their a little. He told me that Duke was a great place to be and that I could live life right if I came there. I have not talked to him or any coaches from Duke on the phone yet, but it is cool to know the head coach knows who I am."
Green doesn't know a lot about the Duke program yet outside of the obvious.
"The are mostly known as a basketball school, so I know about their history there, and I know about their academics, but that is really about it right now. Now that I know I have an offer from them, I want to get to know more about them though."
While the playmaker is excited about offer one, he is not contempt to let that number sit there. He now wants more.
"I am ready to see who offers next now," said an excited Green. "Georgia, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, Florida, Florida State, and some other schools are showing interest, so I want to see who will be next to offer me.
The 5-foot-9, 170 pound junior has been invited to Georgia on January 28 and then LSU in February for Junior Days and he plans to attend both.
Right now, the Blue Devils are the only offer and they are now on top of Green's list.
"Duke is number one now, then I would say Georgia, Georgia Tech, LSU, Vanderbilt, and Florida."
Green played both sides of the ball and special teams for the Wildcats in 2011 and he finished with 976 yards rushing and 19 touchdowns on 73 carries on offense, four touchdowns receiving, six touchdowns on special teams, and three interceptions on defense.
