Richardson's on a roll

De'Asian Richardson is really starting to emerge as one of the top defensive linemen in the state of Florida. He has added some big offers in recent days and he talks about those and more here.

"The last schools to offer me were North Carolina and Louisville last Friday and Alabama a couple of days before that," De'Asian Richardson said. "I also have offers from Penn State, Duke, South Florida, Ole Miss, and a few others. I think I am sitting at nine offers now."

The 6-foot-4, 270 pound defensive lineman out of Orange Park, Fla. does not know a lot about UNC or Louisville yet, but he knows about the Crimson Tide.

"When Alabama offered me, I spoke to Jeremy Pruitt, Chris Rumph, and Nick Saban, so I got to talk to three of their coaches.

"Each one talked about the offer, how they like me, and all of that. It was pretty exciting because they just won the National Championship.

"I love how they win, how they play for championships, and how they play in the SEC. They are just a top program and it feels amazing to be offered by them."

Right now, Alabama is tied at the top with a school that may surprise some.

"Duke is up there with Alabama on top of my list right now," Richardson said. "I have visited Duke and I really like it there. They give you an opportunity to get a great education that could really set you up for life. I liked their campus too."

The school Richardson has followed since being a kid is Miami and he'd still like an offer from the Hurricanes.

In the end though, he is just going to choose the school that fits him the best.

"I still want some more offers, but as soon as I find a school that feels like home, I am going to commit to that one," Richardson said. "I could commit early, I could take some official visits first, I just want to find the perfect school."
