California OL On The Radar

Scott Quessenberry (6'4, 265, OL) is one of the prospects Duke's watching early on.

Encinitas (Calif.) La Costa Canyon offensive lineman Scott Quessenberry (6-4, 265), is making the switch from right tackle to left tackle this fall.

The move comes after playing opposite Erik Magnuson, who signed with Michigan.

But Quessenberry already knows his future is likely inside.

"I've played right tackle this last year, and now I'm moving to left tackle but I'm more likely to play inside in college," said Quessenberry.

Three schools have already offered Quessenberry and more could be close.

"I've been offered by Nebraska, San Diego State and SMU," said Quessenberry. "UCLA could be next and I like Stanford, Duke, Michigan and Wisconsin."

Quessenberry said he didn't have any favorite schools growing up, but one always stood out to him.

"I didn't really have a top school, but I'm looking at schools that have great academics so I did like Stanford growing up," said Quessenberry.

Quessenberry said he gives Magnuson a lot of credit for his recruitment.

"I give a lot of credit to Erik because when people watched his film, they saw me and it helped me a lot," said Quessenberry.

Academically, Quessenberry has a 3.8 GPA and will sit for the SAT in the spring.
