It's easy to see why. Adams has the measureables at nearly 6-foot-3 and 310 pounds with weight room maxes of 315 pounds on the bench press and 495 pounds on the squat, but he's also got the academic resume with a 3.3 unweighted grade point average.
As more and more suitors come into the picture, Adams says he's open to learning about each program and he's already taking unofficial visits in hopes of doing his homework.
"I've camped with Duke, NC State, Florida State, Wake Forest, South Carolina and Boston College. I've also visited Clemson. The next steps in my recruiting process include having a big junior season. I plan on graduating high school in December and enrolling for the Spring semester at the school I choose."
Adams says his time at Duke allowed him to learn more about the Durham based program, something he enjoyed.
"I really liked the coaches. They were really intense and extremely informative. It really reminded me a lot of my high school coaches' approach. I worked out a lot with Coach Latina."
"Overall I'm really interested in the coaches and Duke as a whole. It's not just their athletics, but also their academics. I know they have have worked hard in the past and I know they have a strong future ahead of them."
