Vernon was tabbed to the first unit while Tomlinson and Crowder garnered third team accolades.
A senior wideout from Miami, Fla., Vernon caught 70 passes for 956 yards and six touchdowns last fall en route to receiving second team All-ACC honors for the second straight season. With 198 career catches, he needs 34 receptions to match the ACC's all-time mark of 232 set by Clemson's Aaron Kelly from 2005-08.
Crowder, a sophomore wide receiver from Monroe, N.C., received mention from Athlon as a punt return specialist. In 2011, he returned 13 punts for 122 yards and a 9.4 yards per return average. In addition, Crowder caught 14 passes for 163 yards and took back 38 kickoffs for 814 yards.
Tomlinson, a redshirt sophomore offensive guard Chicago, Ill., was a first team Freshman All-America pick by Sporting News in 2011 after helping Duke rank among the ACC leaders in both passing offense (2nd) and sacks allowed per passing attempt (3rd). He was the only sophomore offensive lineman to receive all-league honors from Athlon.
