The current crop of commits was in action last week, taking part in their senior seasons across the country. Here's a run down of their performances:

Joseph Ajeigbe, RB, Norco (Calif.) - Norco dropped a close game to Santiago by a 32-26 score as Santiago QB Michael Darr accounted for nearly 400 yards of total offense.

Ajeigbe fumbled once, but still managed 84 yards on the ground as his team's record now stands at 3-3 on the year.

Terrence Alls, WR, Miami (Fla.) Dade Christian - Dade Christian kept the ball on the ground against Barrington Christian in another easy win. DC lead 40-0 before Barrington got on the scoreboard late. Despite the high score, DC accounted for just 228 yards of total offense.

Darren Andrews, CB, LaPuente (Calif.) Bishop Amat - Andrews and Amat sit at 5-0-1 on the season, and spent Friday night resting up on their bye week.

Johnell Barnes, WR, Fort Myers (Fla.) Dunbar - Dunbar won 34-9 over North Fort Myers High with Barnes scoring on a 40 yard touchdown run. It was a 7-3 game at halftime before a 27 point third quarter from Dunbar blew the game open.

Parker Boehme, QB, Jacksonville (Fla.) Sandalwood - Sandalwood quarterback Parker Boehme passed for three touchdowns and ran for another as the host Saints (4-2, 1-1) defeated the visiting Mustangs in a District 1-8A game.

Boehme threw a 65-yard strike to wide receiver Mike White in the first half and accounted for 272 yards of offense. He finished the game competing eight of 15 passes for 184 yards through the air. He ran another 25 times for 93 yards

Breon Borders, CB, Statesville (N.C.) - The Greyhounds improved to 6-1 on the season with a 48-0 victory over West Iredell High. Borders made the play of the game, returning an interception 99 yards for a touchdown.

The Greyhounds, ranked No. 5 in The Associated Press 3A state poll, can clinch at least a share of the North Piedmont Conference championship when they host co-leader East Rowan on Oct. 19. Statesville (7-1, 4-0 NPC) travels to Alexander Central next week

Gabe Brandner, OL, Columbia (S.C.) Heathwood Hall - Heathwood improved to 3-4 on the season with a 39-19 victory over Pinewood Prep.

"We played very well," said Brandner. "We accumulated plenty of offense, and our team tallied over 200 yards of rushing. Next week, we get Wilson Hall."

"It's been really good to see that Duke is taking care of business. We are on top of the coastal division."

Quay Chambers, WR, Monroe (N.C.) - Monroe improved to 5-3 on the year with a 68-0 win over West Stanly. The starters, including Chambers, didn't play much after the first quarter as Monroe was up 43-0 after the first.

Austin Davis, OL, Mansfield (Tex.) - Mansfield had a bye week, and sit at 2-3 on the season. The team will face Midlothian next Friday.

T.J. Douglas, WR, Fort Myers (Fla.) - Fort Myers had their five game win streak snapped by Island Coast on Friday, losing 24-21 on a last second, overtime field goal. Fort Myers rallied from two scores down to tie the game, and had a chance to win it in overtime, but their kicker missed from 37 yards.

Douglas completed a 51 yard pass to senior WR Devin Williams for a score in the second quarter to tie the game.

After falling to 5-1 overall and 1-1 in District 6A-11 play, the Green Wave hit the road this week to undefeated district rival South Fort Myers, where a loss would in all likelihood knock the defending district champions out of postseason play.
