And Duke has made the final half dozen.
"I'm just focused on those schools," Lyles told the Indianapolis Star. "I like the style they play, they have rich legacies, have good coaches and I feel like I could be comfortable at any of them."
Currently Lyles is averaging 20 points and 17 rebounds per game for Indianapolis Tech. In the past the Lyles camp has spoken highly of the Blue Devils, indicating that Duke has a unique approach to the recruiting process. One that seems to be resonating.
"They share some things differently," said Lyles' father, Tom. "In our one on one conversations with Coach K and his assistants, they definitely come from a different angle. They do have their position guys, but they are also definitely looking for versatile guys who can play multiple positions who are high IQ players."
