Nine recruits in Cameron for Duke-UNC

There will most assuredly be a loud and energetic crowd in Cameron Indoor Stadium when Duke and North Carolina tip off tonight. Joining more than 9,000 fans will be nine recruiting prospects for both basketball and football. TDD runs down the list of who is expected to attend.

Latest news: Pinson, an admitted Duke fan in his youth, has been a regular on campus over the years. He'll make his first big game appearance of the season tonight after visiting Indiana earlier this month. He's also visited Chapel Hill this season for a regular season game. Currently the in-state, five star prospect lists Indiana, Georgetown, Louisville, Carolina, Duke, South Carolina, Clemson, NC State, Ohio State, and Florida State among others.

Harry Giles
6'8, 210, SF
Class of 2016 has yet to be ranked

Latest news: Giles is considered one of the top overall players in the class of 2016 and was one of the best players at the USA Developmental camp back in October. Giles will have his pick of the high majors and Duke, North Carolina, and others have already made him a very early priority in the class of 2016.

Latest News: The junior has scholarship offers from Appalachian State, Duke, East Carolina, North Carolina, North Carolina State, and South Carolina. He's also courting interest from Alabama. Barbour is confirmed to be at Duke for Junior Day in late February. He's also confirmed he'll be at Duke for Spring Practice. Barbour lists a top three of Duke, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

Latest News: Berrios claims offers from North Carolina, East Carolina, Wake Forest, Duke, Virginia Tech, Minnesota, Maryland and South Carolina. He's said to be highly interested in Florida as well. Northwestern has recently stopped by in Raleigh to extend an offer as well.

Latest News: Just recently Edwards picked up an offer from Virginia to go with offers from Duke, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Pittsburgh, and Wake Forest. Other schools involved include Michigan, South Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, and Louisville. Edwards is no stranger to Duke, having made a handful of trips over the last year for practices and games.

Latest News: Freeman will make the drive up from Hogansville to visit Durham. He has an offer from Indiana as well as Duke. He reports interest from Georgia, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, and South Carolina. Freeman has not yet visited Duke, but attends the same high school as Jamal Bruce.

Latest News: The brother of current RS Freshman, Max McCaffrey, Christian is breaking the family tradition and playing as a running back. A very tough one at that. As a junior he earned state player of the year honors. He flew in on Tuesday and will leave on Thursday. He's staying with his brother. Currently, Christian sports close to 20 offers, the list reads: Arizona State, Boise State, Colorado, Colorado State, Duke, Iowa, North Carolina State, Stanford, Vanderbilt, Washington, Nebraska, Michigan, Oregon, Utah, North Carolina, Oregon State, and others.

Latest News: A very highly rated player, and a contender for the top overall position in the North Carolina state rankings, Scott is adding offers on a near daily basis. Schools such as Duke, East Carolina, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Louisville, LSU, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia Tech are pursuing him. This will be Scott's first trip to Duke.

Latest News: As one of the top linemen in the state, Richardson will have his pick of schools. Currently he lists offers from Ball State, Duke, East Carolina, Florida State, Indiana, North Carolina Central, North Carolina State, Ohio, UNC-Charlotte, and Virginia. He's also fielding calls and interest from North Carolina, Louisville, Pittsburgh, and Clemson. Last week Richardson listed Duke as one of four schools standing out to him early on along with NC State, Virginia, and NC State.
