Elk Grove (Calif.) Cosumnes Oaks offensive lineman Kameron Schroeder is headed to the ACC.

"Kameron committed to Duke," said Cosumnes Oaks head coach Ryan Gomes. "He just got off the phone with Coach (David) Cutcliffe."

Schroeder was offered by the Blue Devils last week while in Durham for an unofficial visit.

"I think it's a great fit in terms of a life decision, education, football, alumni, prestige, his major and the guys he'll be associated with," said Gomes.

Schroeder also had offers from Harvard, Hawaii, Idaho and Nevada.

"It's a phenomenal opportunity and they absolutely love him," said Gomes.

Schroeder was recently named one of the top 10 offensive tackles in the West for the 2014 class.
