Looney, now every bit of 6-8 but still a very skinny 200 pounds, is also being recruited by a litany of suitors; as his game continues to expand so does his list of offers.
Looney listed a long list of scholarship offers to TDD.
Although Kevon claims an impressive list of offers, there are a few schools that are recruiting him the hardest.
"Duke, Michigan State and Florida are probably the top three that are recruiting me the hardest," Looney said.
Duke is one of the three programs Looney said is recruiting him the hardest and Looney feels as though they are very interested in him.
"They want me to come there, they've offered, plus they're making a home visit within the next two weeks so they seem pretty interested," Looney said of Duke. "I talked Coach K a couple of times, Nate James and Coach Wojo."
Looney also said that the Duke coaching staff has a plan for him if he were to play for the Blue Devils.
"They said I'd be on the wing and play like Ryan Kelly and have the freedom to move around and have that sort of role," Looney said.
Looney mentioned that Duke is trying to schedule an in-home visit within the next two weeks and other schools are also making in-home visits with Kevon a priority. So far he's had one school in as others try to get involved.
"Just Florida so far," Looney said of his in-home visits. "Duke and I believe Stanford (are making in-homes) but I believe other schools want to come too."
Looney and the Milwaukee Running Rebels will play in the NY2LAsports.com Spring Extravaganza this weekend in Minneapolis in the opening weekend of the April NCAA "Live" Period.
