Blue Devils in final three of Joseph

Honea Path (S.C.) Belton Honea Path linebacker Kendall Joseph is one the top prospects in South Carolina. In less than a month, he will make his college decision.

Three-star linebacker Kendall Joseph has seen his stock rise over the past a few months. Now, he is close to making his college decision.

"I will announce my decision on June 17," said Joseph, who has scholarship offers from Clemson, Duke, Louisville, Appalachian State, Furman, Georgia Tech and UCLA.

Despite holding several offers, only three schools remain for the nation's 31st-ranked middle linebacker.

"I'm down to Clemson, Louisville and Duke," said the 6-foot-1, 228-pound Joseph. "They're all even right now."

Joseph has one visit scheduled before he makes his decision – Clemson on June 8. He has already visited Duke and Louisville.

What are the main factors that will go into his decision?

"Great connection with the coaching staff, early playing time, a program that can win and a school where I can get a great education," he said.

Last season, Joseph had 129 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, 13 quarterback hurries and five forced fumbles. He also had six touchdowns on offense.
