A week after cutting his school list to six, 6-foot-8, 210-pound Milwaukee Hamilton 2014 power forward Kevon Looney is ready to start taking visits and figure out where he's going to college. Looney says that he'll take official visits to five of the schools on his list, with one receiving an unofficial.

"I'll take my official visits and an unofficial visit to Wisconsin and then make a decision before high school season, hopefully in October," Looney said. " I don't have any visits set up yet but I'll take them to Duke, Florida, Michigan State, Tennessee and UCLA."

Looney broke down the six schools remaining on his list:

Duke: "Great program, legendary coach, they produce NBA players and have a great brand."

Florida: "Florida does a great job with players like me and their players make the NBA."

Tennessee: "I have a great relationship with Cuonzo Martin, my dad is from there and I've seen the school and like it."

UCLA: "Great city, great conference, new head coach and great program."

Michigan State: "I have great relationships with coach (Tom) Izzo and Dane Fife. It's a cool city and close to home."

Wisconsin: "That's the hometown team and Bo Ryan has recruited me hard since I was a freshman. I have a great relationship with him."

The plan is for Looney to take all of his official visits before he makes a decision, and he'll be trying to get a better feel for all the coaches involved.

"It's wherever my family feels is the best fit for me," he said. "Relationships will be important."
