Duke is first to offer '15 DT

Hightstown (N.J.) Peddie School class of 2015 defensive tackle David Ryslik picked up his first offer Thursday, and he offered his thoughts on it.

Less than a week after one of the biggest wins of his prep career, Hightstown (N.J.) Peddie School David Ryslik got another surprise. His first offer.

The 6-foot-4, 281-pound Ryslik, a member of the 2015 class, was offered by Duke on Thursday.

"Personally, I think they're a program on the rise," Ryslik said. "They've had a strong showing this year and look very promising in the future. And they are the first to give me that chance."

Ryslik already visited Rutgers for a game this season, and he plans on making a trip to Penn State next month.

He is also hearing fromTemple, Georgia, Notre Dame and Auburn.

"They're all asking me to come out on visits," he said. "They're all saying how urgent it is to come out on campus and talk to them. I'll be at Penn State for their (Nov. 16) game. Their coaches want to see me and they told me something good was going to come out of that. They want to get me on campus and see me in person."
