Duke debuts in football rankings

Blue Devils are ranked in the latest versions of the AP Top 25 and the USA Today Top 25

DURHAM, N.C. – Fresh off its 48-30 win over Miami on Saturday, Duke pushed into this week's Associated Press national poll with a No. 25 ranking. The national ranking is the program's first since 1994 when the Blue Devils were 25th following the regular season.

Duke is ranked 24th in this week's USA Today national poll voted on by the nation's head coaches.

Winners of six consecutive games, the Blue Devils stand at 8-2 overall and 4-2 in ACC action. Duke travels to meet Wake Forest on Saturday at 12 noon, and the game will be televised by ESPN2.
