Name: Christian Harris

Recruiting Recap: Harris was scheduled to visit North Carolina State and North Carolina, but a last minute trip to Duke ended up being the difference in his recruitment. Quotable: "It was kind of out of left field for me as well," he said. "But when it all happened, and I had a chance to get a Duke education while playing high level football, I was sure this was the place for me." - Christian Harris

"Coach Latina was telling me how much he liked me, and we talked about Duke and how I was working. He said he wanted to offer me, and then we talked to Coach Cutcliffe about it as well. After we talked with everyone for around 40 minutes, they stepped out and my dad and I talked it over. We figured that Duke was the best place for me, and so I committed." - Christian Harris

"I play left tackle for my high school team, and that's what Duke has recruited me for." - Christian Harris

Projected 2014 Season Status: With the recent recruiting classes serving as a guideline, Harris and the rest of the offensive linemen from 2014 will redshirt.
