The Blue Devils will finally have a chance to compete against someone other than themselves this week the exhibition season approaches. With that on the horizon it appears as though the early rotation is taking shape, and roles are being defined. But what about the reaction to new roles and demands? We examine all that and more as well as some new strategy we’ve seen of late inside Cameron.
On the recruiting trail it’s been quiet for a while, but things are starting to bubble here and there. Duke was on the road recently to visit top priority prospects, and the class of 2016’s targets been updated of late. Who is moving up the boards? Who is the top dog for Duke in the current crop of juniors? And why is Coach K’s “tight ship” being questioned and discussed by one five star high major? We answer all this and more.
On the gridiron all the Blue Devils do lately is win. Duke was able to take a little bit of luck and capitalize on it against Pittsburgh on Saturday. Now it’s time to look ahead to Syracuse and a potential eighth win on the season. Over the weekend we had a chance to ask Coach Cutcliffe some questions including what it’d take for him to advocate for his team in the CFP.
On the recruiting trail there are only a few spots left in the class, and Duke is working hard on a few select targets, hoping to capitalize on the strong two seasons in Durham. Will the Blue Devils reel in the last few whales in 2015 and how is success translating into 2016?
