NOTES

1. The only change to the depth chart is at defensive end where Jonathan Jones swapped places with Kyler Brown. Jones gave way, on the depth chart to Dezmond Johnson and moved to the primary back up spot behind DeWalt-Ondijo, while Brown is now the primary backup for Johnson. Over the last three weeks, however, Johnson and DeWale-Ondijo have been the starters. Jones hasn’t been on that front line defensive line since the game at Pittsburgh.

2. And speaking of the starting lineup, Duke has trotted out the same one for a month, and in a testament to the sports medicine staff, over the the course of the season with 220 (20 starting positions x 11 games) potential starting spots, the Blue Devils have made only needed to make six substitutions. Cody Robinson filled in for Lucas Patrick at left guard against Tulane, Johnson and Jones alternated at defensive end, C.J. France, Chris Holmes, and Dwayne Norman (a matchup sub for Georgia Tech’s offense) have split time at WLB. Over the last four games, however, there have been no changes to the starting lineup.

3. Despite missing the last few weeks with an injury, Alonzo Saxton, II is still listed as a second string corner back, but hasn’t seen the field since Duke won at Pittsburgh.

4. Despite giving up 7.0 sacks in the last two games, the Blue Devils have allowed 11.0 total sacks this season, tied for the ninth fewest allowed among FBS programs.

5. In the last six games, opponents have totaled 12 punt return yards. This season, the Blue Devils have yielded just 37 punt return yards, or 3.36 yards a game.
