After posting a 9-3 overall record which included a victory over ACC Coastal Division Champion Georgia Tech, the Duke Blue Devils have earned a berth in the 2014 Sun Bowl.
Waiting for Duke will be Arizona State, a team that raced out to an 8-1 start to the season before dropping two of the final three games. At the height of the team's success, the Sun Devils were ranked sixth in the College Football Playoff rankings.
Arizona State has a top 30 offense, but the defense hasn't been as consistent, surrendering more than 400 yards of total offense per game.
This will be Duke's first trip to the El Paso, Texas bowl game, while the Sun Devils have been twice before, beating Iowa and Purdue in 1997 and 2004 respectively.
