Spring Game To Be Broadcast on ESPN3

The plans for Duke's 2015 Spring Game have been announced by the program

DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke Football Spring Game will be broadcast live on ESPN3 on Saturday, February 28 at 10 a.m. Due to the construction at Wallace Wade Stadium, the game will be held at the Brooks Practice Facility and is closed to the general public.

“We’re excited that our fans will be able to watch the game on ESPN3,” Duke head coach David Cutcliffe said. “Obviously, we’d love to everyone to be able to attend, but we’re extremely limited with seating space at the practice facility. We are thankful for everyone’s patience as we transform Wallace Wade Stadium into a spectacular venue for Duke football.”

The Blue Devils, who return 51 lettermen and 15 starters back from last year’s 9-4 squad, began spring drills last Friday and will conclude their stretch of 15 practice dates on Friday, March 6.

“Although we’ve practiced just three days and only this morning’s session was in full pads, I’m excited about this group,” Cutcliffe said on Monday afternoon. “We’ve got a bunch of pieces to put together. There are so many key elements to spring practice, and one of those is finding out who will take the places on the field of our graduated seniors. Another is figuring out who our new leaders will be. Those are exciting storylines for our coaching staff to watch develop.”

Duke opens the 2015 season at Tulane on Thursday, 3 in New Orleans, La.
