Duke will join fellow power program Wisconsin along with Georgetown and VCU as headliners of the 2015-2016 2K Classic. The event will take place in Madison Square Garden with the semifinal round being played on November 20th and the championship round taking place on November 22nd.

The Blue Devils, who won six of their previous seven preseason tournaments including this season’s Coaches Versus Cancer Classic, beating Temple and Stanford in the final two contests. However, it’s likely Duke will have a completely different look next season with graduation of captain Quinn Cook, the expected departure of Jahlil Okafor for the NBA, and the potential departures of classmates Tyus Jones and Justise Winslow.

Duke beat Wisconsin earlier this season as part of the ACC/Big 10 Challenge.

The Blue Devils have appeared in the 2K Classic twice before, losing in the finals in 1999 and winning the 2008 title.
