Freshman Intro: Chase Jeter

Duke welcomed four five star prospects as part of the 2015 recruiting class. The second of the four to commit was Las Vegas big man Chase Jeter who was introduced to the fanbase on Thursday courtesy of our friends at DBP.

Chase Jeter committed to Duke way back on August 4th, 2014, selecting the Blue Devils over offers from programs such as UNLV, UCLA, North Carolina, Duke, Arizona, Kansas, and Oregon. Since that time he’s gone through a successful senior season at Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman High and then through the post season all-star games which included a spot on the McDonald’s All-American team.

Now, after a cross country road trip, Jeter has arrived at Duke for summer workouts with the rest of his new teammates. As usual the team at has gotten an early jump on this season’s video content, and Jeter is the first freshman intro interviewee.

Notable topics in the video include a self-scouting report, a recap of his reasons for choosing Duke, but a reluctance to provide specifics on what teammate Grayson Allen calls the best hair on the team.
