Summer Grind: Chase Jeter

Duke's five star post prospect talks about his role, his game, and what brought him to Duke in the latest edition of the summer grind series.

Chase Jeter was the second commitment for the Blue Devils in the class of 2015, and will be counted on to play early minutes in the post. Following his high school career, Scout.com describes Jeter as follows…

“A consistently improving post player,” said Evan Daniels. “Jeter really seems to getting better every time you see him due to his big time work ethic. He has good size and length for the position, with terrific hands. Jeter's right-hand hook has become a huge weapon for him. He generally plays hard, rebounds well and is a smart defender. Jeter will need to get stronger, which will help him against bigger post players, but he's a terrific prospect.”

Now on campus, Jeter is preparing to battle for his place in the rotation. The program has released the latest Summer Grind video featuring the former five star recruit discussing the reason for choosing the Blue Devils, what his game brings to the team, and much more.
