2015 Preview
Cornered enters his first season of play as the top reserve at defensive tackle after adding 20 pounds in the last year and earning a number of positive reviews from those close to the program for his commitment to the weight room.

TDD Projection
Prior to last season there was enough chatter around Cerenord to believe he may avoid a redshirt season. He would have been the first defensive tackle since John Drew to do so. However, the Blue Devils had enough depth to allow Cerenord the year of preparation. Along with classmate Quaven Ferguson, the expectation here is that one of the two could push into either the starting lineup or at least pushing to log over 400 snaps this season along the interior of the Blue Devils’ defensive line where a pass rush is sought.

How he ended up in Durham
Cerenord picked Duke over offers from Wake Forest, Tulane, and Purdue. Other schools who have offered include Rutgers, Arkansas, East Carolina, Indiana, Tennessee, and Western Michigan. He committed to Duke on January 17th on the final day of his official visit to Durham.
