2014 Review
Davis enrolled in 2013 and, like most offensive linemen, redshirted in 2013. The following season he saw spot duty at center, appearing in seven games and playing a total of 61 snaps.

2015 Preview
With fifth year senior Matt Skura sitting atop the depth chart, there’s not a lot of need for David to play big minutes just yet. Still, there is competition to be had with redshirt freshman Zach Harmon coming off a good year of work and pushing for minutes. And, as with most backups, a starting gig is always a snap away.

TDD Projection
We’d expect more than 61 snaps this season behind Skura, but no more than 150-175 for the year barring injury as Davis works in his final preparation year before claiming the starting spot in the spring of 2016.

How he ended up in Durham
Davis picked Duke after making an unofficial visit in March of 2012. He picked the Blue Devils over Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, SMU, Washington, Maryland, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas State, and Missouri.
