Brandon Feamster

6-foot-3 / 210 pounds

High School:
Exton (PA) / Cheshire Academy

2014 Review
Rated as a two star safety prospect by Scout.com, Feamster was a standout prospect at Cheshire Academy in Connecticut last year. Originally a member of the class of 2014, Feamster opted for an additional post-grad year in order to further boost his stock and enrolled at Cheshire.

2015 Preview
Feamster enters the 2015 season as a member of the Scout team at Duke with all signs pointing to a redshirt season.

TDD Projection
Though he’s a year older than most of his freshman teammates, Feamster will spend the 2015 and probably the 2016 season as a backup as he begins his climb up the depth chart. At 6-foot-3 and 210 pounds as true freshman, you have to wonder if he will stay at safety or maybe inch towards a career as the weak side linebacker in the Blue Devils 4-2-5 scheme.

How he ended up in Durham
After passing on interest from Syracuse and Connecticut, Feamster attended camp at Duke in June of 2014. His performance in Durham earned him an offer from Duke. But it wasn’t just the bond with Coach Cutcliffe that sold Feamster on the Blue Devils. In fact, his relationship with Duke defensive quality control coach Pat O'Connor has been established for some time. O'Connor, who arrived at Duke in 2012, is also a Exton native, and he coached Feamster at Downingtown when the prospect was a sophomore.
