Duke vs. Tulane

  • N/A

  • RB Jela Duncan (upper body)
  • DE Taariq Shabazz (leg)

  • LB Kelby Brown (leg)
  • CB Bryon Fields (leg)
  • DT Zach Morris (leg)

- During his weekly media rounds, head coach David Cutcliffe classified Duncan as a week to week decision. While the junior running back is no doubt anxious to see the field, we’re probably still at least four weeks away from Duncan being fully cleared to return to action.

- None of the three players listed as out for the season were any surprise. What is worth noting is that Brown, Fields, and Morris are all sidelined with ACL injuries. Sophomore Alonzo Saxton will start in place of Fields while Brown’s career is over. Meanwhile, Morris was expected to redshirt this season.
