NOTES

1. The only change to the two-deep from Week One is at defensive end where true freshman Marquies Price has bumped firmly into the second team role behind starter, Britton Grier and in front of Allen Jackson.

2. All in all there are 11 players along the two-deep defensive line, a total of six are juniors or seniors with four being either true freshmen or redshirt freshmen.  Each member of that quartet made their debut last week against Tulane.  The smallest of the group of freshmen, Brandon Boyce, made one the biggest plays of the game when he recorded a sack of Tulane QB Tanner Lee.

3. In total, Duke played five true freshmen in the season opener against the Green Wave.  Boyce and Price joined Ben HumphreysJeremy McDuffie, and T.J. Rahming as players making the collegiate debut at the earliest possible moment.
