Fresh off appointing his new offensive coordinator, head coach David Cutcliffe has made another decision regarding his coaching staff for the upcoming season, hiring former Purdue assistant Jim Bridge.
The news was reported by the Raleigh News & Observer among others on Wednesday with the official announcement expected to come in the next few days.
Bridge, who has coached at NC State and Boston College along with Purdue, will take over for Zac Roper in coaching the tight ends. Roper, of course, was promoted to offensive coordinator by Cutcliffe last week.
At Purdue Bridge coached the offensive line for three seasons.
In his 21 years of collegiate coaching experience, Bridge has coached in 12 bowl games and has tutored four players that went on to play professionally.
