Several High Majors Will Visit For UNC Game

It’s the final regular season game of the season and the second installment of college basketball’s greatest rivalry when Duke and North Carolina meet on Saturday.   The Blue Devils will also be hosting a number of elite prospects on unofficial visits.  Here’s who will be in town.

The nation’s No. 6 overall prospect will make another trip to Durham to visit Mike Krzyzewski’s program. Last month he visited North Carolina for the game against Duke.  Now, he’ll visit Duke for the game against North Carolina.

Duke offered Knox at the beginning of the college season and has remanned high on the fire star prospect’s list since that time.   When presenting the offer, Coach K’s pitch included a comparison to a former Blue Devil great.

“He said that I remind him of a young Grant Hill,” Knox told TDD at the time of the offer. “He said that all the coaches really loved me and they watched me during the summer.”

In-state wing Jarius Hamilton has fielded a lot of early interest and recently earned an offer from North Carolina as the Tar Heels look to solidify their recruiting efforts in the class of 2018.

Hamilton also holds offers from Tennessee, Wake Forest and Virginia Tech. In addition to those offers, he’s receiving interest from Kansas, Duke and N.C. State.

The third confirmed unofficial visitor is in-state wing Wendell Moore, a standout in the class of 2019.   North Carolina has, again, jumped in with a very early offer to the current freshman.  Meanwhile, Duke appears to be tracking the 6-foot-5 standout, but has not offered him at this point.
