Five star point guard Quade Green announced his reduced list over the weekend. The Philadelphia prospect is now down to 13 schools: Syracuse, Kentucky, Kansas, Duke, Temple, Louisville, Seton Hall, Xavier, Georgetown, Arizona, Villanova, Maryland and Virginia.
Recently Green told TDD that Duke has continued to up the interest and have pitched him on assuming the role of a former national champion.
“They want me to come in and play and to be the Quinn Cook of the team,” said Green. “They like my toughness and how I control the game and how I get my teammates involved, and how I’m really close with all my teammates.”
Green visited Duke unofficially last month and spent a lot of time with current members of the program.
“I was just chilling with Amile Jefferson, Grayson Allen, and Jayson Tatum. They told me Duke is a great place to be. It’s a great place academically and a great place for students. They student body is crazy there.”
Now, with his list somewhat reduced, Green will move forward with the process and spoke with TDD about what he’s looking for.
“Really, I’m looking to take all my visits and break down what point guards have been there. Those guys who have been there and done that.
