Three star small forward commit Jack White was supposed originally scheduled to enroll at Duke for the start of the second summer session after committing to Duke in March. However, some paperwork has moved that target date back.
“My visa dates got mixed up,” White explained to TDD. “I was going to be over for the summer session, but unfortunately I missed it. I will be there on August 19th”
Despite missing out on the summer session, White says he’s been in constant contact with the various members of the Duke program from coaches to players.
“I’ve definitely been in touch with all of them, fairly often,” he said.
A 6-foot-7, 220-pound wing, White played in the U19 World Championships with Australia this past summer. Through seven games White averaged 8.3 points and 3.9 rebounds.
“I think I can bring a lot of versatility,” White previously told Scout when discussing the strengths of his game. “I shoot the ball pretty well. I can defend multiple positions, rebound and push the ball in transition. I can contribute in a lot of different ways. I’m just versatile and can just do a lot of different things.”
