Duke Defensive End Commit Ben Frye Keys Win

Dublin Coffman defensive end Ben Frye keyed a strong defensive effort Friday night in leading his team to a big win in Ohio high school action. Frye committed to Duke in July.

Evaluation Notes:

Even though he was going up against super four-star junior offensive tackle Jack Carman last Friday night, Duke commit Ben Frye acquitted himself quite well in his team's win. Frye is a bit undersized at 6-foot-3, but plays a physical style and comes off the ball hard. He could be a player that ends up moving inside at the next level as he adds weight and strength. He plays the run extremely well and is a tenacious competitor. Frye's coaches spoke about his leadership and toughness following the game.
