Kaun and Livingston Set Their Duke In-Home Visits

With two remaining recruits on the radar screen for the class of 2004, the Blue Devil coaching staff has gone ahead and set up both official and in-home visits with Illinois point guard Shaun Livingston and Florida big man Alexander "Sasha" Kaun.

Livingston, who has cut his list to Duke, North Carolina, Arizona, and Illinois, will be tripping to Durham on the weekend of September 19th for his official visit. The Blue Devil coaching staff will be making the trip to Peoria, IL on September 9th to conduct the in-home portion of the visit with Livingston and his family.

While Livingston has become one of the nation's most highly sought after recruits, there is little chance that the 6-foot-7 point guard will be making a decision any time soon. "I am going to take all my visits before doing it," said Livingston. "I want to see every school so that I can make an informed decision."

Aside from the four finalists, Livingston is also receiving a hard look by many NBA scouts. However at this point the NBA is on the back burner in Shaun's mind. "I need to add weight before I can even think about the NBA. Right now college is all I am thinking about."

Meanwhile Kaun, who is down to Duke, Kansas, and Michigan State, is scheduled to visit Duke officially on September 27th. The coaching staff will be visiting Kaun and his high school coach/advisor on September 11th.

Kaun has been sidelined since the early summer with an ankle injury, but is expected to be fully cleared to play when he makes his official visit to Duke, allowing him to participate in pick up action with members of the current roster.
