Devils Conduct Big In-Homes This Week

It's shaping up to be a big weekend for the Blue Devils as the coaching staff departs today to begin conducting in-school visits with their remaining targets in the class of 2004. Illinois point guard Shaun Livingston and Florida big man Alexander Sasha Kaun will both be hosting head coach Mike Krzyzewski and his assistants in the next few days.

Kaun will be hosting the Blue Devils on September 11 at Florida Air Academy along with head coach Aubin Goporo. The Russian native just returned from an official visit to Kansas where he "really had a great time," according to his FAA head coach.

"He liked the coaching staff and the players he met," said Goporo. "Now he's looking forward to meeting and visiting with Michigan State and Duke. He wants to get everything he can so he has something to compare the Kansas visit to."

Kaun will be moving forward with his recruiting process swiftly once he completes his last official visit to Duke on September 27th according to Goporo. "I think he'll decide pretty soon after that. He'll have all the information he needs to make his decision."

Goporo also indicated that his center is looking forward to meeting with the Blue Devil coaches tonight to hear the presentation they have prepared for Kaun. "I know he's looking forward to it, and we can get a really good feel for Duke and what they have to offer him."

Meanwhile, before the trip to Florida, the Blue Devils will be boarding another plane bound for Peoria, IL for a September 9th in-home with Shaun Livingston, who just returned from his official visit to North Carolina. Livingston will make his trip to Duke on September 19th.
