Class of 2017 Wing Jordan Tucker picks Duke

Class of 2017 wing Jordan Tucker has committed to Duke University. He announced the decision today via Twitter.

Tucker chose the Blue Devils over the Syracuse Orange. Duke, who had remained in quiet contact with Tucker, revved up their recruitment of the 6'7" forward after Kevin Knox chose the Kentucky Wildcats last weekend. Immediately extending a scholarship offer and inviting him to campus.

Tucker told our own Evan Daniels that he was ready to commit to the Orange last week, but Duke came through with an offer and it turned out, that's what he was waiting for.

The versatile wing made a statement through his Twitter:

When weighing all the factors, one school has the right combination of academics and basketball. It feels like the best decision for me and it is with great pleasure that I have decided to attend Duke University next season and join the brotherhood.
