Kaun Ready To Decide

After spending the weekend in Durham, one of the nation's top big men is ready to make his college decision. With said decision expected as early as Tuesday morning, both the Blue Devils and the Kansas Jayhawks are anxious for the next 24 hours to come and go.

"I really had a great time at Duke," said Florida Air Academy center Alexander Kaun. "Now I have to take some time and make sure I have everything in order to compare them and make a decision."

That decision is expected to come down by Tuesday afternoon according to FAA head coach Aubin Goporo.

"He has a busy schedule coming up in the next weeks, so it is important for him to get this done sooner than later. I know he liked both schools, but he's got to choose one of them. I am very sure this will be over by Tuesday."

While his head coach assures the media that Kaun's decision is a sure thing, as of Sunday night the Russian native said he was still having trouble separating things in his mind.

"Right now both schools still seem the same to me. I need to sit down and really sort it all out. Perhaps sleeping on it will help me out more than anything."

On his visit a pair of versatile Blue Devils hosted Kaun. The first night it was Shavlik Randolph showing him around the campus, followed by a stint with star freshman Luol Deng on the second night.

"I had a good time both days," said Kaun. "I really enjoyed meeting with the players and getting to know them. I felt like I fit in well with them."
