AM Mayhem Begins Tonight at 12:00 AM

DURHAM, N.C. - The Duke men's basketball team will host Midnight Practice on Friday, Oct. 17, at Cameron Indoor Stadium. Several promotional events surrounding the team's first practice of the 2003-04 season, which begins at midnight, will occur prior to the doors opening at Cameron Indoor Stadium at 10:30 PM.

After nearly seven months, the college hoops season is finally here and the Blue Devils are ready to get started with a bang.

Tonight fans will get their first look at the 2003-2004 roster including prized freshman Luol Deng, ACC Tournament MVP Daniel Ewing, and beefy 240 pound Shavlik Randolph along with the rest of the Devils.

Also in attendance tonight are future Blue Devils DeMarcus Nelson and David McClure. Nelson is taking his official visit, while McClure is in Durham on an unofficial.

"Mayhem" is scheduled to last approximately one hour and will feature public execution of drills, individual player performances, and a twelve minute scrimmage to wrap up the evening.

Stay tuned to TDD for a complete recap from the event, and if you're in the area, be sure to drop by Section Six of the Stadium and say "hi".
