Top 100 WR To Visit This Weekend

Head coach Ted Roof and the Blue Devil staff welcome a number of recruits to Durham this weekend as he looks to add commitments to an already strong recruiting haul. One of the more heralded recruits in town hails from Atlanta's Douglass High.

"I'm going to Duke on January 9," said Corey Thompson. "After than I'll visit Marshall on the 16th, and Auburn on the 23rd."

Thompson, who has already visited Wisconsin and Wake Forest, is rated as the #87 receiver in the country according to TheInsiders.com. He stands 6-foot-1 and tips the scales at 170 pounds and runs the forty in 4.4 seconds.

Over the past two seasons for Douglass he has compiled 79 receptions, over 1200 receiving yards, and 14 touchdowns while being named to the Georgia All-Star North squad.

"I want to take at least one more visit before I commit," Thompson told DeaconSports.com after visiting Wake Forest. "I want to have something to compare Wake to."

All five of the schools Thompson has or will visit have offered full scholarships.
