Nelson Keys Husky Victory

After spending the last three contests focusing on straightening out the offensive woes that had plagued them early on, the Sheldon High Huskies renewed their commitment to defense on Wednesday night. The result was a big 33 point victory over Folsom High School.

Keyed once again by future Blue Devil DeMarcus Nelson's stellar play the Huskies jumped out early on Folsom, putting the game away by the middle of the second quarter thanks to a number of steals and transition baskets, which quickly began to add up.

In all Nelson finished with 35 points, 14 rebounds, seven assists, and five steals while checking the Folsom ball handlers almost as soon as they crossed half court.

The 83-50 victory improves Sheldon to 12-3 on the season.
